Memories of Poppy by Debbie Blair Drinkard:

I was very young when Poppy died but if I was an artist I could paint a
wonderful picture of him.  I remember him being so big and tall with very
strong hands and a dark tan from working in the fields.  I can still remember
sitting on his lap while he was driving through his corn fields.  It was so
fun playing in the wagon when it was full of corn.
